WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT Superfit's BARBELL CLUB

Our barbell club focuses specifically on olympic lifting and powerlifting. You will work in a small group environment with one of our skilled lifting coaches to perfect your lifting techniques.

WHAT IS OLYMPIC LIFTING?

Olympic weightlifting consists of two types of lifts: the snatch, and the clean and jerk. Both are overhead lifts and involve a full body range of motion. The goal is to lift maximum weight at a rapid speed using a barbell. Our coaches will safely guide you through these lifts and deliver effective programming that help you become stronger in these movements.

WHAT IS POWER LIFTING?

Powerlifting is a sport consisting of three lifts: the squat, bench press, and deadlift. These movements require a lot of technical guidance, our lifting coaches help you perfect your techniques which will allow you to become stronger and more explosive in your lifts.
